O, how I've missed these!

College started up again today.  I think my American lit teacher is a trifle mad...he walked in, started humming to kill time, and then said for no reason, "at least it's summertime!" and then looked out the window and said, "ooooh, it's snowing out!"  Then he tried to pull the blinds up, but they wouldn't cooperate so they kept going down again once he let go, and he said, "wheeeee!  *blind goes up, blind goes down*  Wheeeee!  Heh, if we had a cat here, we could give it a ride!  Wheeeeeee!  Can't you see the little cat?  Hahaha!"  It was entertaining.  ^_^_^

ANYWAYS, I read my xanga subscription digest today and was pleased to find out that another questionnaire is goin' around!  So I snatched it and here 'tis.

ARE YOU
1. A Cuddler?: Yes, I'm quite clingy.  But only with boyfriends, really.  I don't like to be touched unnecessarily by other people, and usually see no reason to touch other people unnecessarily!
2. A morning person?: Hellzzzz no.
3. Tall? Hmph.  I am not yet so short but that my nails can reach your eyes!
4. In your pajamas?: Yeah, but they're not the fuzzy nice ones.  v.v  *disillusionment*
5. Left handed?: Nope, no satan-possession here!

LAST
1. Friend you saw: I guess that would have been...Unipony.  (Am I the only one who says Unipony?  Well, I'm not stopping.  I thought of it, and I like it.  Hmph.)
2. Talked to on the phone: My mom, to ask her how to make a manwich.  XD
3. Friend you texted: Lloyd, which is interesting, since I've never texted him before today and I've never really texted anybody (excluding like, three times to Fabiano) ever.  But now I'm becoming ONE OF THEM!  (By whom I mean the Constant Texters.  Y'all know the type.)
4. Thing you Wore: Nothing!  ~_^  I just got out of the shower.  Aren't you jealous.
5. Was today better than yesterday? Weeeeell...I'd say they're about even.  Maybe yesterday was a trifle better, but not because today was bad or anything.  It just happens, you know?

FAVORITE
1. Number: I've always been partial to 7.  7 wears a leather jacket and sunglasses like the Fonz.
2. Season: I like them all.  But I'm really enjoying the sparkliness right now!

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: What was the first thing you did this morning?
A: Woke up, much to my displeasure.
Q: Do you have anything bothering you?
A: Of course!  If I didn't, I wouldn't be me, you know?  I'm always bothered by something.  ^_^;
Q: What's the last movie you watched and with who?
A: 'Sophie Scholl' with my dad.  It was so depressing!  I watched three depressing foreign films in as many days this weekend.  ><  That movie was good, though.  The other two, not so much.

Q: Where is the last place you went?
A: SUNY, I guess.

Q: Do you smile often?:
A: Only when forced...*long, deep sigh*

Q: Do you wish upon stars?
A: Naw man, I wish upon ducks.  That's the way to do it.
Q: Are you a friendly person?:
A: I don't like making people sad, so yes, although I am not always a genuinely friendly person.  ><  But if you care enough about me to be reading this and aren't a person whose middle name I do not know, I am probably genuinely friendly to you.  ^_^_^

Q: Where did you sleep last night?:
A: With your mom!!!  Ohhhhhh, burrrrrrrn!  ...No, not really; I slept all alone in my own bed and dreamed a lonely little dream.  O, my life.

Q: What color shirt are you wearing?:
A: BHS blue.  This is why I only wear it when I am asleep with my eyes closed.  ><
Q: When was the last time you cried?
A: Ah, last week was pretty bad for me.  But I feel better now.  ^_^;

Q: What is your last thought before going to sleep last night?
A: YOUR MOM!

Q: What are you about to do?
A: Pile on some blankets I think...I'm pretty cold right now.

Q: Rate life as of right now 1-10?
A: Hmm...I'd say about a six point five.

Q: What do you hear right now?
A: The music to a movie my mom is watching.
Q: If you could drink anything right this second, what would it be?
A: MY KINGDOM FOR A PEPSI.

Q: Anything hurt on your body right now?
A: My right arm hurts, but it's from playing squash, not what you're thinking.  ><

Q: What's your favorite month?
A: I'd like December if it actually snowed and was all magical like it oughter be.

Q: What's your high schools mascot?
A: Satan.  It takes six.

Q: What’s your favorite bottled water?
A: I like Poland Springs, but only because they're easiest to open and easiest to daydream about, when they're sitting on my desk in psych class with that long river going who knows where.

Q: What were you doing at 12am last night?
A: Well...sleeping.
Q: Did you attend your high school homecoming and prom?
A: I went to both, yes suh!
Q: Did you go to someone else's homecoming?
A: Naw.

Q: Do you prefer coffee or tea?
A: I don't like either.  Though if vanilla frapuccinos count, then...those.

Q: Something red within 5 feet of you?
A: Yes!  A box of envelopes!

Q: Least favorite color?
A: Yellow is usually a disappointment on most things.

Q: Favorite kind of pizza?
A: Just cheese.

Q: Ever had Dippin Dots?
A: Yeah, I didn't like them.

Q: Ever make fun of a homeless person?
A: Not in front of one...

Q: At what age do you want to get married?
A: When I'm ready.  After I've had my fun being a single girl and found that special someone, then I shall settle down!  Unless I don't feel like it, in which case, all bets are off!
Q: Have a best friend?
A: Shaw nuff.

Q: Have a girlfriend/boyfriend?
A: Yep.

Q: How many kids do you have/want?
A: I think I might be able to put up with two.  Just two.  No more.  A girl and a boy would be nice.  Or two girls.

The Book Thief stole my heart!

So I finished the Book Thief at two this morning, and SOBBED for an HOUR afterwards.  Never has there been a more sorrow-laden book than this.  NEVER.

I simply cannot continue; I am too worn from the ravages of EXTREME DEPRESSION.

By the way, I'll have all of you know that it was UNIPONY who urged me to read it.  So let's all throw rocks at him or her, since I won't specify here!

i am so dispirited

School starts again tomorrow.  That's all I have to say about that.

In brighter (?) news, the new year has already started.  I got all nostalgic last night and wrote about it in my Journal, but the feeling has pretty much passed by now and I've realized that 2007 is really just a continuation of 2006 and not that much has changed yet, except for one of the numbers.  Stuff will change, though!  I'm going to graduate this year.  I think I've pretty much outgrown high school (does that sound snobbish of me?) so I'm not so sad about going to college and finding out who I Really Am and stuff (and NOT fulfilling either Mrs.Boerner's OR Mrs.Latorre's thoughtless and unkind predictions so humph), but I was just thinking about how weird it will be to leave high school.  I know that if I choose to and if the feeling is mutual, I'll be able to keep in touch with all of my friends pretty well.  It'll be different, but...I'm sure if we check up on each other every once in a while we'll still be comfortable around each other when we see each other in person again, during breaks and maybe the occasional weekends and stuff.  But like, what about the people I never got to know very well?  Those people whom you secretly stalk or admire or gossip about or hate or whatever but never actually talk to in-depth or regularly?  Like (for me,) my old cello homies, for instance?  My sheep?!  What of them?  When will I ever see them again?  And if I do, would we even recognize each other?  I guess it's just weird for me, to think that after I graduate, I'll probably never see a bunch of people I've been used to seeing every day, again.

I got B pluses in both my college classes.  Creative Writing I can understand because I didn't hand in one-third of my final project (d'oh!) but I thought my Improv grade would surely be less mediocre.  Oh well.  At least neither one is terribly shameful.  My GPA is 3.33.  That's not so bad, is it?

I was thinking last night also, that in 2006 I spent maybe about a total of three to five weeks single, but in 2005 I was single for the entire year.  o_O  It was interesting.

By the way, I'm re-reading this because I love it (except my cover is better):

Better Late Than Never

I'm finally starting my government project, which was due last Thursday.  ><  I can't even convey to you all how much I don't want to do it.  Augh.

My cold feels better, except my nose is still not quite right and my cough still sounds dreadful.  But at least I can go to school again.  Woo.

And college is over for me, too, so now I have nothing to do each day after twelve.  ^_^  I'll try to still go to lunch, though.  Every so often, at least.  *feels bad because she has ISOLATED herself this year*  Oh, so isolated.

I watched a little bit of 'Moulin Rouge' today, with one contact.  It frustrated me.  See, my left contacts die a lot sooner than my right ones for some reason, so my left contact bit a chunk out of itself sometime during the night and I only found out about it once it was in my eye and hurting me and I was far, far away from my glasses.  So...yeah.  Still haven't fixed that.

I really have been updating a lot, haven't I?  About such pointless things, too...hm...

It's A Wonderful Life

I'm watching 'It's a Wonderful Life.'  I like this movie a lot.  Not that I'm suicidal, but I wonder what things would be like if I hadn't ever been born?  >.> <.<  It would just be interesting to find out, I think.
